Serving Up Smiles Since 1986

FriendShip was founded in 1986 by Bill Beck and son Brian Beck with one simple idea – treat customers like guests in your own home. The first two FriendShip stores opened in Port Clinton, Ohio, a beautiful shoreline community along Lake Erie.

Today, as a home-grown, employee-owned company, FriendShip Kitchen continues to carry forward the values established by its founders. Our FriendShip hosts work hard to create welcoming stores, deliver friendly service, and make every guest feel appreciated. Whether it's a quick stop for coffee or a meal featuring our signature FriendShip Famous Chicken, we want every visit to leave you smiling.

Honoring Ohio’s Lake Erie Shore

We honor our early days by showing a little love for the lake in every store we operate. Guests and tourists love to visit our flagship store on East Perry Street in Port Clinton, which celebrates our shoreline heritage with a 50-foot lighthouse, lake-inspired décor, murals, and displays that pay tribute to life along Lake Erie.
